So I send a post to an FA thread which is adjudged to be near off-topic. And instead of docking me a point, a mod just sends me a private reminder. Either the world is coming to an end, or I have suddenly found myself in a parallel universe.

When will you learn, Fabio, that on FAP, when you post on a thread, you have to repeat exactly the same thing as everyone that has posted before you? Gosh, I can't believe that after all this time, you haven't figured that out!

I don't doubt that for a second. I was just being sarcastic about the lack of originality of everything that is said at FAP. It used to drive me nuts when I read the first post of a thread, had something to say about it, and then saw that 20 people had already said it.
