Oh, and that analytical philosophy is not dead is unfortunately all too clear to anyone who had the depressing experience of studying in a British university - meaning a place where A.J.Ayer is still taken seriously. Yours truly once meditated offering a paper titled Babble, lies and illogic, but then I decided I was in bad enough with the college authorities as it was. But then, what do you expect from a nation which voted for Karl Marx as its favourite philosopher, with David Hume (whom I loathe worse than Popper ever hated Hegel) as the second?
