The Stanford Encyclopdia of Philosophy has an excellent article on scientific realism, in spite of the fact that it's, you know, Stanfurd.
And you know, as an analytic philosopher (defined broadly as Anglophone philosophy), I can't really be expected to agree with your assessment of analytic philosophy. ;-)
