Reflections of a stormy petrel

Must say that all the methodology I've learnt is from psychology department: the psychology trying to "scientical" seems to care much. In ethnology the methods were done rather badly; and in our current department (which calls itself "cultural studies")* the students don't have even basic psilosophy of science so they don't knoe what is sciencie and what does it mean scientifacl etc. The research methods are also done in a v. inadequate way, I'm afraid.
I'd better stop ranting :)

*according to one funny Snape-fic: whatever has "studies" in its name is a domain of quacks :)
