Maybe they actually held a sale to make more people try the mozzarelle and decide that the brand's worth it. The price will soon go up again, and then people will think "oh, shoot, the sale's over. Nevermind, I've got some money to spend this month" and buy it anyway. In that case it's not so bad for the producer. Anyway, I've always thought that mozzarella was the most boring of cheeses, but you've got me interested. I'll have to check it out in an Italian food store. Enjoy your cheese!
