Not you, too.

I have nothing against you or this woman. She sounds absolutely miserable - back pain, menopause, asthma, irritable bowel syndrome, high blood pressure, allergies, depresion, obesity, incontinence.

Spend your time and energy however you think best. I'm sorry she hurts, and I'm happy money can help her, but as a card-carrying Dark Sider I have to wonder what you are talking about re: private American medicine and insurance. Insurance paid over $135,769 to take care of her pre November 2004 (when her family paid the premiums on the COBRA insurance). After that she is going to the doctor of her choice and receiving treatments. I assume insurance paid for that, otherwise I can't imagine Mayo Clinic had her back. (Private medicine is evil and doesn't have to treat people unless it is life-threatening.) The private doctors saved her life and cured her salivary gland cancer. The insurance paid for that. She is sick and suffering with a number of painful, miserable, and life-threatening problems, but not because of the doctors or nurses or insurance companies or any other faceless enemies you can name.
