It's one of my absolute favorite movies, though it grew on me slowly. But now... I really find it profound. I wish to model myself on Ashitaka. He's a true, true hero.
I really think Miyazaki has a great, great heart. His love for people, for the world, and his sense of its sadness and its beauty. I just stand in awe. So many small moments in so many of his films show such a truly great heart.
