Every now and then, really quite rarely, my left calf muscle seizes up into a painful cramp. This morning, God only knows why, it seized up as I was still sleeping. Normally, when it happens, I can feel it coming, and move my muscles to avoid it; this time, I just woke up with a completely cramped lower left leg, set as hard as concred and incredibly painful. And while the cramp itself went away in a few minutes, the pain and stiffness have stayed there all morning. I have to go out and do some shopping, but with my leg in this condition, I don't know if I can.
