I just finished an essay titled PEACE PROPOSALS ON THE DARWIN FRONT OF THE CULTURE WARS. As I want to try and offer it to a "real" magazine, I am not going to publish it here just yet, but any of my friends who want can have a copy by e-mail - under the condition that it will not be published online just yet. Obscure allusions to hidden and forthcoming brilliance are quite welcome, however.

The next few days feature more than the ordinary number of birthdays of outstanding members of my f-list. Well, John, Elskuligr, Artemisia and the rest of you, you know that I have very limited time online right now, but believe me when I say I am always thinking of you.
