...and they are disastrous. The Pope has lost standing across the board. Two weeks ago, the head of government of a single European country would never have dared address him as an errant subject, in this manner: http://www.google.com/hostednews/ap/article/ALeqM5jvQo60XrwHi87AruP4MsDnZME46QD9647P501 . The Pope's prestige has been shot down. Which, of course, is exactly what all the enemies of the Church in Brussels, London, Washington DC and other places were praying for.

- stop trying to talk sense about public health to Americans. They are ignorant, opinionated, and obsessional.

I regret not having had the time to answer your previous message. I am extremely busy in my private life, and my attention has been distracted by the death of Trine Michelsen. However, this message suggests that disagreeing with you on national health - a matter on which I know more than you do - is a sin to be atoned. I suggest you rethink your categories. BTW, the person I commented on in my last short post was not you. And his arguments were even worse. I also suggest you lose the pious-sounding passive-aggressive mannerisms; they are neither becoming nor convincing.

Sincerely,
Fabio Paolo Edoardo Vigilio Barbieri
