Going to DiaCon Alley, 21-24 July
Jun. 28th, 2011 04:56 pmFrom 21 to 24 July (my birthday) I shall be in Canterbury for the Harry Potter DiaCon convention. I have already bought the ticket and everything (including a commemorative mug). I would have done my best to go anyway, for the pleasure of meeting people such as ![[profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
hijja and lazy_neutrino, but the fact that it was in Canterbury made it utterly irresistible. I spent a couple of years of my childhood in the area; I learned English and cricket, among other things, there, and I recall it as one of the loveliest places I ever studied in. I would have gone back sooner or later, but the chance was just too good.
