No, and I'm in no hurry to. Spears *started* her career with a video that was an anthem to paedophilia. Everything she did after that was redundant.

Agreed. I just don't understand what goes through her head, y'know? If she has kids, you can bet that they will find all about their mommy's past. How will she instill in them any kind of values? She just keeps digging herself into a hole.

Anyway, her new song is entitled "My Prerogative". Basically she is saying that it's her prerogative to be a whore. The video is scandalous, but really, it's just recycled from past works. If she wants to shock people, she should put some clothes on.

If you noticed, that's what Aguilera has been doing. Of late, she has been showing less and less skin, and, once or twice, even her natural hair colour.

As for Ms.Spears and inculcating values in her children, remember that she is her mother's daughter, and it is her mother, from what I have heard, who has pushed down the showbiz path all her life. Anyway, the same question might be asked of hundreds if not thousands of showbiz persons, some of whom are now in their sixties or dead.

Well that's an easy question. It's the money. Money money money. That's the priority they all share. By the time they realize they are compromising any values they used to have, it's too late.

Spears is a grown woman. She makes her own choices now. If her choices are to accept her mother's decisions, fine. But the mother is not to be blamed anymore.

She has to grow up. She has plenty of money to live off of for the rest of her life. She, like many artists, are just greedy now. I mean, does she even write her own songs now? If not, she's not doing it for the "music", she's just a puppet.

It's not that I disagree, but I think you underrate the force of a culture in which one grows. I do not think Spears ever realized that there was an alternative. You can easily see that she is not a very well read or widely experienced young woman. Incidentally, her first and most successful songs were written by someone else.
