Actually, it might be fun. Years ago I wrote a short email correcting TIME Magazine "journalist" Joe Klein. He made several historical factual errors regarding Bill Clinton's rise to the presidency, and I (truly) innocently pointed them out. None of the things I corrected made him look any worse, only not as heroic and great. Klein questioned my ability to "know facts" since "you aren't a journalist", and the conversation went on from there.
It wound up with an (almost) apology from Klein -- but no correction in his column.
