It's snowing like you wouldn't believe in London this morning, and unlike last time - a week or two ago - it does not look like it wants to stop in the morning.
One thing I noticed is that a number of taxis touting for business have been coming up my street - something you never see in my quarter (we are not central enough). I suppose they expect more business with all the snow. Several rail lines are down or working slow.
The one thing I hope is that the snow does not turn to rain: almost the same cold, all the beautiful white snow melting, and mud everywhere. And I suppose that it is a sign of age that I am as concerned with the heating bill - I should really be saving if I could, right now - as with the beauty of the snow.
