fpbWhen you move to Britain, you soon learn why the islanders talk about the weather. It really is a subject of absorbing interest. But even by the standards of this country, today is really extraordinary. In the middle of July, we are experiencing an autumn storm so violent that I had to turn the lights on about four o'clock! Talk about crazy...
"What have you done today to make you feel proud?" Well, I edited together an essay about atheism as a religion and submitted it to an American Catholic magazine. No doubt it will be rejected. I still haven't managed to deal with my virus problem, and I am worried that it cannot be dealt with except with expensive anti-virus software that I would really rather not pay for... Oh, Hell, someone else commits the crime and I pay. Story of my life.
