Whatever happened to Kayla Rudbek?

She is a great writer and one of the first two people I friended when I started this LJ. She got her degree in Law and the last thing anyone heard was that she was moving to California for work. I miss her. Great writers - and Catholic LJers - are not so common that we can just afford one to vanish with no better excuse than "work". 8-) Seriously, I would dearly like to hear from her again.
