Mussolini did not "call himself a Socialist in high school": until 1914, he was the acknowledged leader of the Italian Socialist Party's radical left, a politician of national importance, and a committed pacifist who personally sabotaged the railway tracks for troop trains going to the colonial war in Lybia in 1912. I said that very clearly in my post on "Fascism", the second of the two I linked you to upthread. Are you sure you have read what I had to say?
