I tried. God knows I've tried. I'm really sorry. But...

...there is no, absolutely no way I can bear to watch David Tennant for more than two minutes. To talk about ham is to understate: he takes carpet-chewing to a whole new level. I take that all rugs on the scenery are woven from steel plate?

Also, while I do enjoy him as Dr. Who (I am an amateur fan, not a professional as many others are), I did not get his performance in Harry Potter (what was that, Goblet of Fire?).

I also enjoy him on Doctor Who, and I've enjoyed him in several other shows I've seen featuring him. But yeah, his penchant for scenery-gnawing sometimes give Bill Shatner a real run for his money.

Alas, it's what 'the people' want... or are told they want.

What do you mean by carpet-chewing? That's something I haven't heard of before.
