After the story Fyre told, nobody would be surprised if Hermione decided to abort the baby, and her decision not to do so is one of the climaxes of the story. It is obvious that the message that Fyre is conveying is that keeping a baby, even the result of the most awful rape, is morally better than destroying it; it is the kind of thing a heroine would do.
