I hope someone tells the Italian players and (already sacked) manager that this is how football is supposed to be played. Some played well, and some played badly, but both sides played to WIN.
I have not watched any of the football, but, I do think its worth saying to you that the Italian Rugby Team gave a gutsy and determined performance against the World Champions, South Africam last Saturday.
They lost 26-0 but, but quite rightly, never let their heads drop and never stopped playing to score. No negativity at all.
They are in the place Argentina were a few years ago. The perfect attitude to the game, but short of two or three world class players to lift them to the next level.
