That did stump me for a moment. It is the Rabbi telling Rachel about the battle between the Golem and the SS in THE FIRST FEMALE LIBRARIAN.

Yes. I suppose in this case the phrasing of the second sentence is likely to have helped place it.

Incidentally, I loved the way that wonder-working Rabbis were integrated into the HP continuity in that story.
