A good day

I had a delightful afternoon out getting to know mentalguy and showing him around London - at least, some of the best known parts. He is an intelligent man and very good company. This is only the third time in four years that I get to meet real life LJ friends (hello, kagome_sama, chthonya, kennahijja), and each time it has been a great and unmixed pleasure. I wish it happened more often.

It's on the magnitude of years, but I plan to visit London 'sooner' rather than 'later'. It would be lovely to make a real life acquaintance!

Incidentally, while we are complimenting one another, there are not many people with whom I have been able to discuss art with at the depth we did -- and I learned a tremendous amount from you in this case.
