About the term "monster", it was poorly used - inexcusable, in a study that meant to criticize my target's poor use of language. I meant that to any liberal this sort of person would be the kind of monster they would construct to pillory their idea of conservatism. I do not mean that she is a monster; perhaps the work I was looking for is "caricature".
