I don't find it irrational that you'd be sickened by someone writing wank-fodder about your characters. I find it irrational that you'd refuse to create because of it. There are always people in the world whose impulse is to destroy rather than create, and letting them preemptively prescribe your creative efforts just seems sad to me.
