That post by [personal profile] sanscouronne

Short and firm.

"Sexy" is not a compliment

It really is not.

Anyone with boobs wearing lipstick can be sexy.

In today's society, accessibility to sex is like McDonald's: cheap, easy, only mildly satiating.

It is such a tiny sliver of human existence, and it really bothers me how people are easily controlled by it and obsessed with it.
No wonder chastity/abstinence is considered a higher plane of existence in many religions.

And in case anyone thought this is the bitter view of a plain woman:

Wow, I kinda wondered if I was the only woman on the planet that didn't think being called "sexy" was a compliment. I'm glad to know I'm in such lovely company.

Note for anyone who comes along

As it happens, I have a photo of [profile] marielapin from the days of her pregnancy, which shows that she is hardly an unattractive woman either.

Thank you for the post. Short, sweet, and to the point.

The fashion industry needs more people with common sense like her. It seems to be going off the deep end lately.

'"Sexy" is not a compliment'
agreed, it's a sleazy objectification. utterly lacking in imagination..

is that a trace of a smile in the first photo?
and i'd love to disagree with other parts of it... lol
