I just had to toss my huaraches which have been virtually my exclusive footwear since I bought 'em at a discount store for $11 5 1/2 years ago. My only other footwear is patent leather dress shoes which I wear at Xmas, Easter and 1 wedding for the last 2 years. I have a problem replacing them since I can't wear the thonged variety due to sensitive toes. I go sockless except in winter when I put on a pair of hospital slippers with the sandals. It's amazing how cheaply you can clothe yourself with a little thought and still feel comfortable and look good.
