Prejudices will always exist. What matters is being mature enough to be aware of them and their bad consequences.

Exactly.

I am of the opinion far too many people believe that prejudice can actually be stamped out into nonexistence and that that sets them up for anger, disappointment, disillusionment, and denial, which is of course not good.
