Quite right. Reagan said: "There you go again". But when he tried it again with Mondale, Mondale took the wind out of his sails by reminding him that he had raised taxes after all. And George Herbert Walker was the man who had (quite rightly) invented the term "Voodoo economics" for Reagan's, only to become his Veep and his successor and adopt his policies.
