This is an AU, and one of the things I specifically wanted rid of was Anja's death. I did not think it worked very well and I felt that it showed all too clearly that it was simply a matter of Emma Caulfied wanting out of the character. However, be warned: in the next few chapters, a few characters start doing things you would never have expected them to. I have got quite a bit of flak for this on FA.
