No, she did not go dressed as Buffy this time.

But there was something else that was surprising - if you are a JKR fan. She was wearing a decorous but figure-hugging brown jacket dress - and JKR once said that she hated yellow and brown (the colours of her old school uniform) and "would not wear them out of principle." (Telling Tales, an interview with J.K.Rowling, by Lindsey Fraser, Mammoth Publishing, London, 2000.)

That's not surprising. The quote tells me that she wouldn't want to wear yellow and brown together.

Anyway, it's been five years. Fashion principles don't seem to be very binding to me.

Well, it depends. Some women (and some men) keep them up for life. Anyway, she looked nice. I find her an attractive woman, even with her rather impressive nose, and could easily imagine falling for her.

Pictures? I suppose I could find them eventually on my own, but as you're up and I'm sure you have the links to them at the ready, I might as well ask. :)

Er, I never found any pictures of what she wore at the OotP presentation - so I cannot confirm my memory that she wore a Buffy-like outfit. As for the last outing, I could only find a very small photo (not wanting to spend hours googling everything in sight), where you can barely see what she is wearing. Here it is:

My stupid boyfriend didn't tape this television event for me, and I hate him for it.

But yeah, I'm going to have to say that chicks' ideas of what works fashion-wise is always changing. I never thought gold and brown would work well together, but I've seen it done beautifully.
