I did not wake up to this until yesterday.

I was reading an old mag and I came across this character, whom I had created in 1993 or thereabouts - long before the Potter books - for my own superhero universe.

A few coincidences with the Harryverse: wears a cloak over a jacket with a shirt and tie, Arthurian connections (Merlin in one case, Arthurian descent in the other), has bright red hair (take it from me, that stuff is red), and her husband-to-be was called Peter Potter!

Had her sword a ruby-encrusted hilt?

I dare say. It is Excalibur itself.

Did she have a yoyo? And damn, that bird has quadriceps!

Hope you enjoyed your birthday, btw: your birthday fic is going to take a little more time.

Um... I did not understand word one of the first line.
Thanks for the good wishes and anticipated thanks for the story.

Oh, Italy, for shame that you have never introduced your children to yoyos.

I know what a yoyo is. I just cannot imagine what it has to do, either with HP, or with Lady Camelot and WWII.

Never mind. One day I will explain it to you when you are old enough.

My other comment was about the massive size of this woman's thigh muscles.

Those are jodhpurs - riding trousers that billow out at the thighs. A lot of army uniforms included them at one time.
