Can someone tell me what the SHIT that is about? I looked at the link fpb posted but found none of this fabled proof that Arthur existed. The page headings and such mentioned him, but I saw none of this proof. Is there any reason at all to believe that this Arthur stuff is anything more than evidence of batshit?

In other words, this person imagines that she can tell what is inside a book by the chapter headings. God help us.

(Actually, I think it is more like hatred for me. She probably wanted any excuse to find fault, so she did not exactly bother to look very hard. And I am afraid that the truth is that every one of those 500,000 words are needed to make my case. I do not deal in miraculous new discoveries or pieces of graffiti saying Arthur slept here and had a great fuck with Gwennhwyvar.)

Actually, it had a positive side effect. As far as I can tell, at least four or five people have had a look at the introduction to my book, and a couple have shown signs of reading it with some attention. That's not a bad day's work. As for the rest, if they tried to interfere in the discussion between, say, me and Waltraute, they would only make fools of themselves - as cymbeline has in fact done. The point is that I care more for the two friends I may perhaps get out of all this mess than for every symbelline and adora spintriae and eilan in the world.

Point 1: I clearly remembering you typing somewhere that all 500k words of that work were essential for it to be a coherent whole.

Point 2: It's self-evident that that link (ie, the contents page) contains less than 500k words.

Conclusion 1: The contents page is not the entire work.

Conclusion 2: Someone needs to start reading.
