I do not know the identity of every one of the people involved in the original GAY BAR witch-hunt and lie-fest. I do know that a few have, one way or another, changed their position or even apologized. But every now and then, one more unrepentant piece of scum pops up, like a boil of methane from a poisoned swamp. To them I only have to say that I see no difference between them and a KKK lynch mob, and that I hope that one day they experience the murderous attentions of a brainless, howling crowd of hate-crazed morons.

Forget them, really. One of these days I owe a review on that particular fic. The important thing is some people have apologised.

People are fucking idiots. I've been in fandom for less than half the time you have, and I know this. There are some people who only read literal interpretations without wanting to or being able to interpret intent for themselves. There are people who hate to think that they might be wrong about something and will not back down, even in the face of remarkable pressure, because they'd rather be seen as an asshole than be seen being wrong and stupid.

Just... fuck em. Take this icon I made especially for these people, and let it slide.

Well, I've just read the fic and the reviews. It's really not an easy fic to read, so, yeah, I can guess that some of the less brainy people went right from screen to scream (sorry, couldn't resist). But they are stupid. They're not worth your time or attention except to laugh at them. Don't let them hurt you.
