...to be fair to the person concerned, who has corrected the problem it highlighted. Since it had also drawn some thoughtful comments from old and new friends, I have saved it to my personal memories. (That is, everyone who has written in, you have not wasted your time.)

It's taken me a little while to getting back officially to you with my now-taken-time-to-cool-down-and-stop-freaking-over-health-woez.

First, good on you for getting the debt cleared. Hopefully it'll ease some of your stresses.

I said a lot of stuff that was far too heated last week, and for that I apologise. I need to say in all honesty that I didn't appreciate having my personal issues aired as an excuse for what happened last week, if only because I never use them to excuse my own actions and I don't believe they should be used to excuse anybody else's. I may be younger than you, and I may have had my problems, but it certainly doesn't influence what I say or do, or the validity of what I say and do, and without trying to be rude I found a little of your excuse post a bit patronising of me.

I am perfectly capable of taking care of myself, and to be honest there isn't as much 'widespread hostility' toward me as one might think. I understand you were in a difficult situation last week, as was I.

I won't be refriending you, but you're no longer banned at my LJ, and if you'd like to make any posts (that aren't inflammatory) you are more than welcome to and maybe I will assess the refriending situation as we go along. I know that you genuinely are a decent person with a lot of great traits, but I truly think that things got a bit too vicious last week from all sides. If you'd like people to see the person I got to know, you've got to show all your best sides. Your angriest side is not your best one, btw.
