I think that, being a comic-book artist by training, all my drawings tend to imply a story. Here, Dumbledore is clearly thinking about something specific, and may be plotting a plan of action. So it is not really a portrait.

She was going through a period of artist's block, so I suggested that she had a go at painting me to break the impasse. She: "Great. How do you want me to show you?" Me: "Don't know. How do you see me?".)
The hand is wrong, by the way - place your fingers in that position and you will find that the tip falls inside, not outside, the ridge of the heel. As a rule, I use my hands as models, but this time I was lazy - I only noticed now.
