You scored as XI: Justice. The blindfold arbiter weighs the evidence and passes judgement without fear or favour. There can be no appeal.Justice is not necessarily the same as Law. True justice seeks out the spirit of the law, not just its letter. If a law is bad then true Justice will set that law aside. This is the sacred responsibility of those given the power to judge. If well aspected in a Tarot reading, this card can indicate settlement of disputes, the achievement of a just outcome. If badly aspected this card can indicate corruption and failure of justice.

Look how balanced you are, in fact, among all the choices!

Balanced is the last thing even my friends would call me. There is a reason why this blog is called "Reflections of a stormy petrel".

Which is why personality quizzes aren't to be believed! (Thank GOD!)

What's that you say? Fear of the real world? Hmpf.

Yes, but every woman seems to get the Emperess. [profile] ilzhilzha and [personal profile] kikei both got the same, although they are not really very like either each other or you (save that you are all very religious). It seems to be a pretty easy card to get.

Well, I believe I would have got Justice had I not been more certain that I was a female than that I have a clear sense of right and wrong. The latter can come into doubt at various times in my life; the former only takes a couple of well-placed pats to confirm.

You escaped the dungeon.

And I escaped the Empress.
Instead I got Death, who is summarized:

Death is probably the most well known Tarot card - and also the most misunderstood. Most Tarot novices would consider Death to be a bad card, especially given its connection with the number thirteen. In fact this card rarely indicates literal death.Without "death" there can be no change, only eventual stagnation. The "death" of the child allows for the "birth" of the adult. This change is not always easy. The appearance of Death in a Tarot reading can indicate pain and short term loss, however it also represents hope for a new future.

I had Death at 81%, The Lovers at 75%, the others, and then The Devil at 31%.

Are you the same Cheyan who wrote in to Gerald's Closed Cafeteria blog a couple of days ago with a story about a new priest and a recovering atheist?

Aha! I had guessed it might be you, since you don't go by something easily mistaken (eg. all the people who have "mom" in their names over at Amy Welborn's blog).

Yes. Small world.
