The appalling thing is that, if I had not come across this rebuttal first, I might have found the German report and taken it seriously - while, as appalling as the Lukashenko regime is, the whole story is one big pack of lies. No bloody wonder that Germans, especially the left-wing ones, seem at times to live in a world of their own.
