FA sent back "Her Seventeenth Birthday" because of their usual fiddly obsession with commas and such, but it gave me an opportunity to rewrite it. I was dissatisfied with what I had done, and felt that it was little more than a skeleton of an idea. This may represent an improvement - I hope.
