Placing hard set honey in a squeezy plastic bottle with a narrow top does not represent, to me, the height of marketing intelligence.

Mind you, I am the one who bought the damn thing.

*laughs*

I wonder if they fired the person who thought of it?

Maybe you should try putting it in the microwave (if you have one). Or hot water.

Run your tap the hottest it will go and place the honey receptacle under the stream for several minutes. It will soften the honey.

Also, think about keeping the honey near the stove or near an always sunny window to keep it soft.

How about ketchup in glass bottles with narrow necks? Maybe the same genius was behind both ideas.

Ketchup at least doesn't harden more, while honey usually does (unless it's sugar-doctored). Heating the thing up a bit and puring it not a wide-open jar is the thing to, as the people said above :)

Next time, sage honey. Nothing more sugary.

Ack. That sounds like the sort of honey they'd give you in one of the Eternal Punishment corners of Hades. The same place which features the little plastic tubs of coffee creamer that explode all over you when you open them, and magazines full of horrible eye-watering perfume samples.

I think I just described Damnation's Waiting Room. Hmmm. Good luck with your honey.

Funny! I think you're right on about that.

Yeah, I've had that problem too. Other genius products are shampoo bottles that have various levels of dropability and other annoying characteristics.
