Yesterday I made a dumb joke on [personal profile] rfachir's LJ, asking whether someone could lend me £100.

Today I find that I have been robbed of £140 and 100Euros.

Somewhere in there lies a great big irony, but I am too furious to laugh just now.

Impossible. It was in an envelope sent from Rome. The only thing I could do was to bollock the sender for making it obvious that the envelope held something valuable.
