The leading Italian newspaper, Corriere della Sera, published an account of how someone calling himself Gabriel claims to have hacked into a Bloomsbury employee's computer and got the plot of Deathly Hallows out. I read the supposed plot. If that is all there is, JKR has suddenly and totally lost her talent. A fake, and not a good one either. If any of you is tempted, don't bother.

I warmly suggest you do. It's the best yet: shows maturation from JKR as an imaginative writer and a plotter, and has an absolutely devastating climax. (Though I had an issue with a couple of things. The description of Harry's feelings for Ginny was unlike any sense of love I ever experienced; and the obstinacy of Ron and Hermione in constantly refusing a certain view from Harry was rather OOC. But these are details.)
