Last year, Kathleen Yvonne Ensz, a 63-year-old retired university teacher of French, received a mailshot from Marilyn Musgrave, Republican Representative to congress. Professor Ensz, it seems, does not like Republicans. So, in a mature style truly worthy of a retired academic, she wrapped some dog manure in an envelope and mailed it to Representative Musgrave. How did we find out who did it?

She used an used envelope and only covered over her nine-letter postcode with black ink. The police did not have to try very hard. She was actually quite indignant when found and charged.

I can imagine someone that age deciding it's time they got to do whatever they want. Not defending it, just saying I can see it.
