I just placed your blog on my Favourites list. It may interest you that a few weeks past I posted the whole Patrick Henry speech in a comments thread over at jihadwatch. It makes a difference to me that I have a very dear friend who is a blindingly good person in every sense and a devout Muslim, but I cannot avoiid saying that Islam as a whole is menacing and needs taming.

I'm assuming you've read the Narnia stories? There's a scene in "The Horse and His Boy" with the enemy fighter who is a good man, even though he's hugely wrong with religion. (It's been a LONG time since I read those, and I haven't been able to find a quote online.)

C. S. Lewis was a very smart man.
