I think my heater is playing mind games with me

Last evening, in despair, I tried to start it... and it came on without the least problem. It stayed on all night, too. Which is just as well, since this was the coldest night yet, and with the heating on AND the electric heater at full power, I still woke up with a cold face and arms. Now I'm kind of waiting for the other shoe to drop.

Argh. I hate it when technology gangs up on the people it's supposed to serve. You have all my sympathy. :S
