1) I only ever had a serious accident in my life, and it was someone else's fault - the driver of the car I was on fell asleep at the wheel.

2) In spite of knowing a few languages, I am really a terrible linguist. Things just end up sticking when you handle certain subjects for decades, you know?

3) I managed all my life to avoid having a driving license or a car.

4) I never had a pet.

5) I once lived on the same street as one of the greatest Italian cartoonists ever, Benito Jacovitti. I only found out years afterwards, when the great man was dead.

It's good to know that there are at least some people in the world who don't drive! I'm sick of people telling me that I need to learn how to drive. I'm crap at it. Plus, it's expensive. And I really do suck at driving.

I'm kind of envious that you've managed to never have a license or a car. It's been a fantasy of mine to live in a town where you can walk to work, church, the market and the local pub. But as long as I stay in New Jersey, I'll have to deal with driving with all of the other maniacs on the road. :-P

It took me forever to learn how to drive and I'm still not very good at it.
