On the ninety-fourth minute of play, a Liverpool defender has been hustled by Chelsea's Nicholas Anelka into placing the ball in his own net. Chelsea being away, the goal could be worth double if the next match ends in a tied score. ON THE NINETY-FOURTH MINUTE! THE LAST MINUTE OF PLAY!! I swear I cannot remember the last time I saw anything like this.

I was watching said match with the boys. Despite my general rantings about footballers, you couldn't help but feel really rather sorry for Riise. Poor guy.

That is why I did not mention his name. Somehow, it seemed unchivalrous - like kicking a man when he was down.

Reminds me of Champions League Final in 1999 between Manchester United (My favourite team of England) and Bayeren Munich. Manchester managed to score the equalizer in overtime(90+1min), forcing extra-time. But the referee hadn’t whistled for full-time just yet. 2 Minutes after the equalizer, Solskjaer kicked the ball hard in the Bayeren goal (90+3min), after a corner kick from Beckham and thus giving Manchester the CL cup.

I'll never forget the anguish on the faces of the Bayeren players, and the joy on the faces of the Manchester United players, staff and supporters.

Yeah. And what about the recent European Cup where Trezeguet equalized against Italy in the ninety-second, and the France won in extra time? There was a wonderful sense of revenge in Italy when we took the World Cup against the same French team two years ago.
