Bring some over! I'd share, since I'm not cooking! :)
Actually, We had jelly of the fruit kind, with peanut butter on whole wheat...that passes for home cooking here these days. I miss having someone to cook proper meals for, as the small people here are pretty much into meals that do not require flatware...
Ahh, yes. All the experts insist on children eating real and wholesome food, and no expert will tell us how to make children eat it without discipline of the most Victorian severity....
Exactly. I am just happy that they eat, as some of my friends/coworkers have kids that cause a ruckus at mealtime, refusing to eat. My kids eat, but they eat "kid food", like pb&j, yogurts, apples (lots of fruit), spaghetti, and so on. Since I'm the only adult here (ah, the joys of being a single mom), I tend to pick my battles carefully...I'm not wasting energy on fighting at mealtime, when I can save my sanity and know that eventually the kids might eat something that did not require ketchup.
No fair eating real food!!!
