I BLOODY WELL HOPE ITALY LOSES.

I loathe this disgraceful kind of kill-the-game playing, without even any attempt to counter-attack. How can a self-respecting team actually set out to play for penalties? If they get there, it would suit my gutless countrymen right if the Spanish won.

EDITED IN: They deserved it. I am not happy, but this damned match was a disgrace and I hope it teaches the more gutless among my fellow-countrymen that being gutless does not pay. Two years ago, we won the World Cup under the guidance of the never-say-die fighter Marcello Lippi. This time we have been knocked out of the European Cup for refusing to take any risks. Porco di un Giuda schifoso, ragazzi, la volete imparare o no?!?

Yeah, it was bad. I think now Spain/Russia will be a ripping game - I mean, we need some exciting football after all this, and those two teams have been pretty consistent. Along with the other semi, even if Turkey has almost nothing left at all, there should at least be some goals.
