I miss having a pony (horse)...unfortunately it's gotten so expensive to keep one properly now I doubt I'll ever be able to own one again.
Also, I have a question for you--I planted some lilies in my garden with Italian-sounding names. They are called Loreto, Navona, and Nove Cento. Are these real italian names/words, or just something made up by lily breeders, or whoever is in charge of such things?
They are real words. Novecento means nine hundred - but, in this case, must almost certainly mean "the twentieth century". Loreto is a famous and beautiful place of pilgrimage, and Navona is the name of a historic square in Rome.
Very cool. I like knowing little details like that. One lily is white, one is pale yellow, and one is a sort of creamy orange, but like a dweeb I didn't write down which name belongs to which color, so I can't remember what's what. :/
