I just had this same unpleasant experience; not, of course, for the first time, but - and this is what is horrible - at the hands of a supposed friend. I took a screencap, just in case.privatemaladict seems to think that jokes about Catholics being prevented from breeding or hate talk about the Church amounts to protected speech, and that I should not have pointed out that such talk is bigoted and intolerant. Then she locked the post against me: the usual reaction of people who have no arguments.
This has been a long friendship as Internet friendships go, and I wish it did not have to end like this. But I will take that kind of shit from nobody. I do not accept it about Jews, I do not accept about blacks or Chinese, I do not even accept about Muslims (although I do not like Islam), AND I DO NOT SEE WHY ON EARTH I SHOULD BE EXPECTED TO TOLERATE IT WHEN IT IS AIMED AT ME.
